I know the "White" one needed an interior refresh badly and it was scheduled for it...
Maybe they figured since "Summer" was officially over, they would ditch the White and make it a darker color..
LoL
Edit *******CONFIRMED********
This is the "Pearl White" one and it has now been repainted "Pearl Gray"

^Nice. They should repaint it with a different official color every other week so that we have a chance to sample all 28 of them (can't wait for the pink one). Cheaper than building 28 prototypes in different colors for sure.

I'm thinking they've got plenty of prototypes and what they do is just add the production body to it. The prototypes aren't full production units, but the late ones were pretty much close to it, or production ready? Spy shots from the ring could show you that they were very close to production spec even at this time last year. If the yellow one which is prototype #14 is the latest, that means it having over 2000miles already should be at least a couple months old. I donno for sure, but I would assume these things are at leas a few months old before they even hit the streets for demo purposes.

More info points towards Lexus in GT1 next season. The latest round at Portugal saw Toyota/Lexus officials there. http://speedhunters.com/archive/2010...g-algarve.aspx here's a quote from the END of the page;
Rod: The Algarve track marshals didn't seem to mind though... BTW m8 did you notice the Toyota people hanging around the press area?... I am praying they commit the LFA to the GT1 series next year! I need to hear than singing V10 in person... especially in GT1 spec!
Jonathan: The marshals had it tough: there were very few huts for them to shelter from the sun. Marshals are the unsung heroes of motorsport! But yes, a Toyota would be most welcome: though for me I'd prefer something a bit more 'real' than the LFA. We'll see what is conjured up in the next six months! There could be some exciting things coming in GT1!

I guess he's meaning more 'real world' or 'obtainable'. Which is a laugh because the Maserati it's to replace isn't even for sale any longer! lol The guy is just biased it seems. It'd be welcome, BUT... when you see a but there's reason to suspect he's not keen on seeing another limited edition car or he just doesn't think another Japanese make is any good, something...
good vid rolla... "forget the audi" haha, the best thing I heard besides that exhaust note in that video. Tanner was talking about the top speed run, I didn't hear him clearly though, too much other noise in the vid.

Forget no longer on sale, when it **was** on sale (it pre-sold) if I'm not mistaken, less than 60 were built TOTAL. This is GT1, if anywhere these cars should be racing is here. He can suck it.

Actually I meant to put that they're no longer in production. Which is fine and all, but another thing is that the guy is saying he'd like to see something more 'real' well, the MC12 is real- real rare! Like you said only such and 50 (besides the Corsa cars) were ever made. The MC12 wasn't allowed in series like ALMS because of the cars dimensions. It basically could be as fast as a LMP car save for weight penalties. It definitely is the class of the field STILL in FIA GT1, and in previous seasons of FIA GT. I think it won the championships 3 times already, and it's only been racing fully since 2005. It finished 3rd it's first race in 2004, then the next race it won. Then the next year, 2005, it won the championship. The car is amazing, and even with the smaller wing, it's still at the front and will more than likely win the championship again this year.
