Of course I don't think an Enzo is "worth it" too for what you get compared to other Ferrari's and supercars, except that they only made 399 of them & it's rare ...
Heritage speaks volumes and that is what Ferrari has. Just say "Ferrari" and the juices start flowing..

$375k Lexus should

1. 0-60 sub 3.0 sec
2. 250mph
3. bugatti veyron beater
4. the best ring time by 10 sec.

now that justifies overcharging.

And I am laughing so hard, you must be in the market for one then? If not what does the price of the LFA matter anyway?

Yes of course, I think if it's Ferrari that is making the exact same LFA with only 500 units, people will wonder how come it's so much cheaper than the Enzo instead ...

Since the price is the big deal.

Dave since you are a real buyer and can speak some truth, what value do you see in buying this at the said price?

If you already noted this let me know where it is.

People do not blow money for no reason, those REALLY in the market for a LFA see something great so it would be a nice inside view to read.

So, you want Lexus to develop a Bugatti Veyron for $400k?

I'll let Nissan do it instead. They know all about being cheap.

are you saying i don't have a right to talk about m3 too? can't talk about s class? I should just stick with mazdaspeed 3 or genesis coupe because can't afford any cars over 40k.

dude, seriously every car magazines and every enthusiasts will talk only about the insane price and not what a great car it is. this could actually hurt lexus' image.

I wonder if Lexus actually made too big of a jump with the LA-F. Performance car wise, they went from a $70000 IS-F to a $375000 LA-F, maybe they should have design a car like the GS-F first and than another car price at around $200000, then the $375000 LA-F. The numbers are there for the LA-F, but it is the intangalables that might be in question.

For people that can afford the LFA, the intangibles are financially negligible.

Using your logic, for the 320-350K USD that the Pagani Zonda costs, it should be able to do all that, but it doesn't.

For the roughly 2 Million USD that the Veyron costs, it should be able to fly, cook dinner, and do my laundry .

If I had the money for the LFA. I would still get one. It just needs to lose a few hundred pounds (not sure how). Slightly better top speed and be a tad quicker. As I said before. For $375k. It should be able to do over 215 mph and 0-62 in 3.4 seconds. For me that would justify the price. With those type of numbers. It would put Lamborghini and Pagani to shame.

We just have to wait for Top Gear to put it on its track and see how it works. Plus I hope they put it up against everything like the Porsche Turbo, Audi R8 V10 and a few other cars in the same category. After have one for cars in almost the same price range.

Some comparisons...

For me, it is the fact that Lexus has been such a reliable and trusted brand, on top of that the tech in this car is incredible. I am no race car driver and I do want a exotic , just not the hassles that come with driving them and the difficulties. Also , my dealer has really looked after me, things like comming to my place of work to pick up my car for services and driving me to functions when I don't have a car ect, ect. I just feel that I am in good hands with lexus and to top that this car is going to be very exclusive, something that will stand out in the crowd.

BTW, they are also releasing an LFA-R , which will be further weight reduced and I am not sure at this stage, but have more power too.
