I agree, no words to describe it. It sounded like a real race, yet these were not race cars!

I'm curious about the LFA buyers, what were the original survey questions that Lexus based your eligibility of owning one?

On the application form, there were questions in these three areas:
1- My occupation
2- What I was planning to do with the LFA
3- What vehicles Lexus/non-Lexus, I have owned.

Re: 5 LFA's on the race track video = Priceless.

Last but not least, I get to make one last change to my car by this Friday. This probably means all 500 LFA's orders are in, or Lexus is cutting off sales to get ready for production .

I would believe all 500 have been sold-out. Lexus Australia GM confirmed that all 171 allocations in US have been spoken for (whether all will be shipped to US or not is another thing).

So does the LFA production officially start today or later this month?

I called in to the phone number for US inquiries. I was only asked about my past Lexus ownership history.

It seems then that all 500 have been sold. According to that Australia article, the Lexus GM at that dealership said all US allocations of the LFA have been sold.

Nobody else has confirmed or backed up this info here in this thread, but I assume they are now all sold out.

I called the number on day 1.

The communication was more about Lexus making sure I understood the leasing thing. They wanted to confirm that I lived in the US and would register the car in the US.

I was not comfortable about the amount of info I was able to provide. Once I received an email from Lexus, I sent a message communicating what a car junky I am and how I would drive it up and down Michigan Ave, the shnazzy Northern suburbs and would take it to Road America in the summer.

I would not fear that the cars will never see the light of day. I am sure most owners will want to show their toy off and I would have to believe Lexus will sponsor some nice get getogethers once the cars have been delivered.

I would also not worry about them selling out. Like I have been saying, the dealers want these cars to bring people into the stores, so they are likely to be customers for any open build slots and resales.

Just to note, that's a magazine-style layout put together using in-game GT5 screenshots just to showcase how good the graphics are - so the guy just made up the text to make it look like an actual car mag. Certainly in GT5 the LFA might hit 210mph (and the real Nürburgring Edition might also) but that's just a "fabricated" magazine article, so to speak.
