Default LF-A will debut in Tokyo...Details Oct 21st...

why did they black out the area around the exhaust???
they should have kept the paint around it to draw attention to the triple pipes.

side mirrors look cool..

Looks great!! I was thinking of getting the Audi R8 next year, but if the LF-A is within the same price range, I may consider buying.

rear end looks like a big fail. compared to the prototype, the rear bumper looks weak and thin because the vents are so huge.

the prototype has a substantial bumper.

this one has almost no bumper toward the sides...

I just fell in love again! Now this is what Lexus should aspire to on their other vehicles.

Probably because they are concealing some details in that area around the exhaust. That, or they painted it like that to give the car a more pronounced, wider look to the car. This may or may not be the final paint scheme of the car.

Also look how ridiculously WIDE the front fenders are as well as the side shoulder/character line. The car looks very muscular from the front.

Let's wait to see the official reveal of the final car, shall we? Like I said, the paint scheme might be different. This looks better than the LF-A II with regards to the radiator vents. I hate how small the vents are on the LF-A II Concept, in these spyshots the production vents look more bad-*** because they are bigger.

Also you would probably complain no matter what. Toyota can never win. Put a big rear bumper on, and people will call it bloated, but a thin sleek bumper, and people still complain .

What are those wing "extensions" above the taillights?

Those are new...

They are for aerodynamics and downforce. If you visualize the spoiler at the lowest position, it will line up with the flaps above the taillights in essence making one big "spoiler" helping to keep the rear end planted to the ground and stable at high speeds. They also likely help reduce drag.

It just seems odd that they put it on the production model, and not the racing prototypes...
