The GT-R has made many rethink what is truly performance oriented now, particularly since Nissan badged is as such and not an infiniti with a lower price point.
I think the LF-A will make everyone proud though, as well as place a Halo on the line like the SLR has done for Benz.

The "Top Secret LF-A" inspired by the Top Secret Supra. A PS job well done. A coupe properly sexy.

BTW I don't quite like that headlight design on the test mule. I'm still hoping they can somehow stick to the horizontally laid out headlights in the LF-A concepts, which wowed me with its menacing look on first sight.

not sure thats quite accurate. Not the part about giving the german cars a run for their money. Since the GTR has come out, the LF-A has dissapeared from tracks. I dont think the LF-A has the fastest laptime there also. The bar has been set so high by the GTR and with this being toyotas/lexus first supercar. If it doesnt beat the GTR in more than one way on the track, it'll be a failure for toyota.

2- If you followed the OP's link, you would see that they returned with 2 mules yesterday.
3- I think they already have the GT-R beat. If anything they have to worry about the V-Spec

I'm hoping it's closer to $130K than $170, but we will see how that works out.

yeah, design is subjective. I love that design and love that it is so unique (exhaust set-up). I've read that it is functional in that it uses the to top, or the bottom single depending on what part of the rev range it is and the throttle position.

The mule has been running with these mirrors for a while.
Mods, can we merge this to the stickied LF-A thread.
