Looking good! Lets hope any revamps made to hit aerodynamic/speed goals doesn't deviate too much from this...

Looking at the spyshots in Germany, it seems that it will stay true to the concept (while passing intermational build laws)...

I agree. Unless the car we see at Nurburgring has completely fake body panels, the LFA will share more with gen-1 LF-A than this infinitely nicer gen-2 LF-A

saw the car in person at Tokyo
one thing that impressed me was the size
sure, i read about it on paper. but in real life it has very foreign looking proportions... i like it.

The car continues to look amazing. Every angle gives the car a unique look, as these Tokyo pics show.

What makes you say that? Historically production Lexus models have stayed close to concepts. Also keep in mind this is the most radical vehicle Toyota has ever made so it only makes sense it would stay very close to concept.

What makes you think those body panels are real or close to production? Do you *really* think Toyota would do that on such an extremely top secret project; put close-to-production panels on a prototype that's tested out in the open? Also if you look closely at the latest LF-A prototypes, the shape and profile of the car clearly shares more similarities with the LF-A II than the LF-A.

Furthermore, Toyota *themselves* have said the LF-A II is a concept that's much closer to production than the original LF-A.

Thanks for the great pic! Can you tell us what impressed you about the size? i.e. Is it bigger or smaller than you thought, or is it something else?

its smaller than i thought. plus its low and fairly wide. add to that the 20" wheels and it has an aggressive look about it that i didnt really get from other $100k cars.

then again if lexus prices it at $130-150k i guess itll be about right because you'd be deciding between this and an F430.........
