The last LFA (#499) for the US is getting delivered. Big day for Lexus!

After two years, the Lexus LFA production finally ended on 12/14/2012. 500 Lexus LFAs rolled off the production line and 178 copies were delivered here in the US. Roy Mallady of Atlanta, GA not only took delivery of the first LFA in the US (#003), he's also the owner of the last LFA delivered in the US, #499. Lexus held a special delivery ceremony at the Toyota Automobile Museum in Torrance, CA.

I read on lexus enthusiast that this last one was headed to Atlanta so that would presume it's Roy's. However, I thought he (and others) had indicated that his second one was going to be a 'Ring edition. Will be interesting to see the specs on this one to see if he incorporated some of the 'Ring items in this car. It is hard to be certain from these pics but it looks like the roof was left in CF and clear coated.

It is a regular LFA, not ring edition

but yes, it has the exposed CF roof

Mesmerizing CF pattern on the roof

Too bad he went with config 3 again that interrupts the beauty of the CF

Cute that they gave him a pin on embroidered tag for his blazer
