See if you can get the last digits of the VIN and the production number on the interior plate. I'm curious if they are still off by two digits or if they have moved farther apart now that we are into the "special" colors.

I mentioned in an earlier post that I asked for the number between the seats but the guy can not see it from the outside and can not get inside the car
If he gets the number I will be happy to share

I have a feeling the color combination on the exterior will look weird. Brownstone, with RED calipers? I donno, I just feel like silver calipers or black or even the gold color would look better than red.

TF
I agree and that is why I flagged it
I asked the guy for a pix that would show this
In the future Lexus should have an Atelier like Ferrari has to keep the bad taste combos to a minimum unless the customer really wants something that looks off

Do you take the time to really read anyone else's posts ???

I'm just wondering.....

^^^ Can't know until you see the badge # to confirm.. My guess is around #224 to #226

Yeah, I've been heading back to this topic on every reply. Joe, I'm sorry, but your guess didn't really answer the question... and I do believe that someone could ascertain the badge number without physically looking in the car... as in asking a dealer representative or getting a glance at the car's paperwork.

I just wanted to make sure that if someone made the effort of heading to the dealership that they knew to ask about that info. That's all.

Exclamation

No one can answer your question until a picture can be taken or a visual is made on the Badge...

If you go back and read the thread posts in order, I think you will see what we mean..

Just stating the obvious...

This badge number should be easy to obtain on this unit..!!

Now, with well over 225 LFA's made to date World Wide, its going to be next to impossible to track them all down..

Example: We have 62 LFA's on the ground in the USA as of 12/31/11 ... How many have we tracked down ???

Oops, I think that I got confused bouncing between replies in this topic and the Texas white LFA that was spotted... my bad.

On a long enough timeline, and with some diligence, a somewhat-comprehensive list of where the LFAs landed in what colors can be assembled. It's fun for people to see... and kind of fun (in a way) to put together, so I will just chime in occasionally bugging people to look at the VIN. I don't think a complete list is impossible... maybe just improbable.

Anyway, back to our regularly scheduled program...

Nice video find Joe!

The salesman I spoke with has not followed up with pictures.

I wish they went with gold calipers instead of the red.

A classy configuration.
