Seems weird to me that someone would want to sell it so soon.
The simple answer is its resale uncertainty. People are dumping it now before it tanks. I believe there have been a handful for sale second hand already. All signs are showing that this car is not going to hold its value in the short term. I don't even think the car is completely sold out from the factory yet. Look at how much time and effort Lexus spent trying to sell it to begin with. In no way am I saying the car is not "worth" it. There is a solid and legitimate case for its pricing, but many consumers at this level are going to factor in re-sale and substitutes, which doesn't look good for Lexus. It's a shame because it is such an amazing car!
