Default When having one LFA is not enough...?

Just get another one. While at it, why not get the first and last one in the production

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/6741896-post22.html

We may have 2 LF-A, one from Lexus and one from the owner of two LF-A. This guy bought a silver LF-A with the VIN# end with 003 and bought a blue/purple with the VIN# end with 500(the last one).I think he's the first customer to get the LF-A and the last because the first two LF-A are belong to Lexus (the black one and the yellow one #001 and #002). This guy always buy and trade in two Lexus every year, one for him and one for his wife and both cars are identical....real baller right here.

Most likely, you will get to sit in his second LFA #500 before he does as well.

Wow...so can this be considered hard evidence that all 500 production LFAs have been sold/spoken for?

not at all. just like another member here who has ordered his lfa, you can specify (if available) when you take your lfa

plus we still see lfa on cars.com / ebay, those aren't sold

Doubt it... It just means he wants the last one that comes off the number line....

Well those LFAs on cars.com/eBay are considered "sold"/paid for/built-to-order from Lexus' perspective aren't they? Those cars are already built with the configurations specified by the "buyers", even if they are dealerships.

And I think there was a letter from Lexus to an LFA buyer earlier in this forum which says that they don't allow the buyers to pick specific delivery dates. Do they now allow buyers to pick specific build numbers if available?

I think this man gave Lexus a lot of businesses over the years, so he's getting special treatment.
He should have ordered 4 LFAs 2 regular and 2 Nurb Edition, all first and last

07grIS350 can give us more info. he requested a late build / delivery and he got it.

and on top, i can tell you a lot of stuff lexus said in the beginning have been thrown out. they obviously allowed this owner to specify first and last lfa available. what are the chances for him to be so lucky to get those??

They have allowed other owners to pick numbers too (for example, Javier Quiros).

He is also not the only person to order more than one LFA. As I mentioned previously, a PS told me at least two LFA buyers in the US ordered both a regular LFA and a Nürburgring Package.

Will there ever be different colors for the Nurburgring package? Do you think if they offered to pay more Lexus would do something 'unique' for an owner and paint a Nurburgring edition say, red?
