I was told that Lexus would customize interior colors to customer specifications, including stitching colors, but these would likely be the last cars to roll off the production line. I'm honestly not that picky about colors anyway.

Now that we have a yellow one to absorb, it is kind of funny to think that yellow stitching was not on the configuration list (lots of F and L cars done with black leather and yellow threads).
The surprise to me on this fine ride was that the aluminum inner steering wheel was in the blackish brown color. Not a fan but interesting anyway. I had missed the point on how much of the trim was changed when you selected that color.
The alcantatara seats are the big hit for me. I love the stuff. The configurations that I was heading for (before quitting time) had alcantara seats and lower dash. I had asked about an alcantara wheel and got some BS answer like, no can do because it would not wear as well as leather.
The strangest thing of all was I asked about a black roof and got the, uhh we are only doing one color cars. Then the ill fated ring car hit the streets with a black roof.

What about a clear carbon roof like the Tokyo show car? I guess what it says at the bottom of their page, other colors/special colors available later or on 2012 models or something. But the yellow calipers would be great. Also- on the website there's ony 3 colors for a headliner, brown black and red. Is that another thing they can change for you? I thought the blue car we saw videos of had matching blue everything including headliner?

Yellow with black is a great show car combo! Not my first choice if I were to pick the color but definitely has that WOW effect. Thanks for sharing Flipside
Another subtle change I see on this car is the Orange front side lights seem to be flush now instead of sticking out a little bit. Or I could just be remember it wrong

Not sure if I like yellow, but my god what a beautiful car.
I probably have my priorities jacked up in life, but this car inspires me to work hard everyday.
