lame review with obvious ferrari bias. The LFA hits 60 in 4.2? We know this isn't the production model, obviously. No way in the real world will the LFA take that long had it had launch control like the ferrari probably does. Complaints about the steering too? I don't pay much attention to these guys- they are known for their bias towards Ferrari, much like C&D and MT.

Repost. AutoCar has always been a Ferrari product launching ground. This is no surprise.

Yeah, there is no mentioning of LFA being a superior track car (to the 458) and there is no mentioning of LFA being the only car with no launch control (or anyway of getting it off the line with a high rpm clutch dump).

Just because they feel 458 can negotiate smaller British roads better than the LFA does not make it a superior car.

What a lame review.

Repost. It was posted two posts down.

I had posted the scans of the article. All cars were brought together to run around Nurburgring. LFA was the second fastest out all the cars behind the 458 Italia (which was mostly because of tires since LFA was wearing temporary less aggressive tires).

Also, they did not test LFA with the new launch control system, but LFA in a straight line should be around the SLS AMG since AutoZeitung in head to head comparo got 11.3 0 - 200 km/h for both LFA and SLS AMG. Both with launch control system.

When it's all said and done, numbers are just numbers. I'd settle for a 2-second slower lap of the 'Ring if the car is more fun to drive.
