Have you seen it in person? It looks fine to me, I just don't think those are good pictures. I'm sure the car looks good though, even if it's not my first choice of colors.

LFA is no beauty queen but I like it. The 599 GTO is no beauty queen nor the 458 or SLS.
The DBS is.

I'll make a phone call and find out if it was repainted.
I know the "White" one needed an interior refresh badly and it was scheduled for it...
Maybe they figured since "Summer" was officially over, they would ditch the White and make it a darker color..
LoL
Edit *******CONFIRMED 9/24/10 ********
This is the "Pearl White" one and it has now been repainted "Pearl Gray"

Those are much better pics of the now gray LFA. What with the blue calipers and tan leather? Weird choice, I guess they're showcasing different colors. Gray Blue Tan, not the best combo IMO but that paint is nice. I gotta question though. That goofy yellow side marker on the front bumper, is there any option to make it clear? I think it's just off putting in that color.

I will see what I can do on the caliper shots... maybe a pic with 2 blue calipers showing..
Edit:
this is the only different shot of the Blue Caliper.. I like it better than the Red....

yeah it'd have to be a video to get all 4 calibers. A picture would only capture 2 at a time, but anyway, does anyone have an answer to my question? Can you get those ugly yellow side markers in front of the front tires clear? Or white? It'd look much better, give it a more euro feel, the ugly yellow markers are all over US cars, but the Euro versions are usually clear or white. I think it's look better.

LoL on the "calipers"
To answer your question the Amber color is regulated by the D.O.T. for the US Spec cars
So any other color or replacment will have to be made custom or aftermarket or maybe if the LFA Euro versions can be purchased overseas..
(if they are a different color)

I like that gray paint on the LFA , looks Truffle Mica-rish (at least in pictures, although I think it's a bit lighter), which is my second most favourite paint for the LS, and among the best for other Lexus models as well

I figured it was the law to have them on american cars, which is why you see them. But it's not like there isn't the 'import crowd' that replaces things like this a lot with clear markers, and clear headlights. I can see if they have a yellow bulb but have the marker clear, that would look better as well. Just something I think the european cars have that are better than american versions. Why does america have to be so **** about things like that? Every other country the cars look cool, come to america and you've got them dulled and dumbed down IMO
