Will consider 2010 as well for a good price....afraid the suspension is too rough though

Yeah looking for one with 50k miles or so and 10-11k cheaper.

Cars I passed on: 2012 ISF 50k miles $34500-34700 (that was like 6 month ago from Lexus dealer and I wasn't looking to purchase as serious as today, wasn't as clean as I like, but still wish I bought it), 2011 ISF 56k miles $34k (member here, didn't like the car), 2010 ISF 35k miles $32.5 (member here, not local to me), 2012 ISF 35k miles $36-38k (black color which is least fave, very clean, but a bit too much $$$).

Local Lexus dealer had few CPO 2012s with 20k miles for $41-42k, but it's overpriced for me. If I wanted to spend 40s, I would bring 2014 with 10k miles from Canada, those are listed at $45k now, also CPO I think.

Here is a nice 2012 ISF in a nice color combo. White over Red.

I would totally buy this if I didn't have one already.

only 41k miles but it's in Las Vegas.

Them 2011+ are getting harder to find..

Seems to me prices in warmer states are + $10k vs north, and in some cases + $15k vs Canada (I am 4 hours away from Canada)

YES, they are more expensive. Also cars that are in warmer states don't have issues with road salt and rust. I personally would not purchase a car from the East coast even if it was 5-10k cheaper unless it was garaged its whole life without seeing snow.

You can't import vehicles from Canada unless it was originally sold in the States first.

Yes you can. Only need to fill out a form and pay 2.5% import tax. Done.

Last time I spoke with dealer there, it was $44k with import tax included for 2014 ISF. Not sure what the deal is now. I would prefer to buy private party and locally.....well more miles and cheaper too

Never had any salt issues in 20 years. I think if my wives 10 year old daily driven Civic has no rust then it's save to say that a much newer Lexus will not have any either.
It's usually poorly taken care of cars, and cars that are closer to ocean that have rust issues. Salt in my state is spread only several times a year....that has almost zero impact on cars.

2 cars I looked at with 30k miles on them had original barcodes and manufacture stickers underneath, almost like a day it came from factory

Buy from the south just watch out for dashboard issues. The best decision I made plus you know it has never seen salt. Bolts come right off nice too. Just my .02
