2001 LS430 Ultra Luxury $6500
Up for sale is my personal baby. It's a 2001 Lexus LS430 with the Ultra Luxury Package. If you know about these cars, this is the top of the line model. Even 15 years later, this car still has more technology than most new cars today.
The exterior is Millennium Silver Metallic with ultra soft perforated black leather trim. The car also has beautiful dark red maple wood trim that is beautiful and classy.
Technically I am the third owner as the original owner gave to their child and kept the car in the family.
The car has extensive maintenance history. All of the big services like timing belt have been done. I have a two inch binder filled with mechanical records in order dating back to the delivery of the car. Over the past 18 months I have done the following
- Power steering fluid drain and fill (3x)
- Automatic transmission fluid drain and fill (2x)
- Transmission mount replaced
- Rear differential drain and fill
- Replaced both oil control valves
- Replaced all spark plugs
- Replaced head gasket and spark plug tubes
- Installed Ceramic rear brake pads
- Lower ball joints
- Inner and outer tie rods
- Front and rear suspension bushings
- Synthetic oil changes -just had one done. I change every 7500 miles
- New battery
- Recent 4 wheel alignment
The car has been meticulously maintained as you can see. I wash the car weekly and wax once every 5 months.
There are a few scratches on the car and a ding here and there. The interior is perfect. The leather is perfect with no rips or tears. I wax the interior wood and it sparkles.
Known issues:
-the rear center console will intermittently not work. I think there is a pinched wire somewhere and I haven't had the time to take the back seat apart
-drivers side air shock is leaking
-crack in the windshield

Nice value, from what I can see. If you had this for sale in November, I would have bought it immediately! I live in Grapevine and drove down to Austin for the exact car and price, with 161,000 miles on it, and not near the maintenance details. Someone will get a great deal!!!

Sorry all for letting this go dormant. I had a local buyer fall through and then had some personal things come up. The car is back up!
I also had the rust spot looked and it's not rust. It's a discolored paint chip.

Car is back up for sale. Some issues. There is a crack in the windshield. Rear bumper has a scratch. Drivers side front air strut is leaking. I'm done. First 6500 takes it.

Hi, JB, how bad is the crack in the W/S? How much to replace the front strut, ballpark? I am in Houston and am looking to buy, I am going to look at a 2005 tomorrow, thanks!

The crack is about twelve inches. For the air strut I am looking for a used one so I can keep driving it (400 bucks). I am negotiable on price.
