Where are your sources for research? The market value is the market value, there's no sentimental or emotional embellishment that should be reflected in the price of a vehicle that depreciated every second.

I PM'd him for a purchase price.... but I never got a PM back.

Oh well, I guess I'll have to find an IS-F elsewhere.

Car should be priced or the ad taken down by a moderator. Also, careful in choosing your asking price, lots of sellers like to use dealer retail in place of private party values; totally different price structure. I actually was interested in this car, but the orange kills it for me Think I might save my money and go with a 2008, I don't need the limited slip, and I like the more IS350-like interior (black leather all around).

I don't think it will work out. You cant compare your sell price with the dealership.

Same here. I was very interested in the car until I saw the orange interior. Deal breaker for me.
Good luck with sale.

I was also interested too, but too bad the interior is not red like this one. This will be a tough sell unless the OP do a trade in and take a hit on it.

This is exactly why the used car market is down and new car Leases are up and thriving. State's that have sales tax can be brutal on expensive purchases. Tax/License will be between 3000-3500 at a $30k asking price. If you plan to finance your final purchase price will be even worse. Always take these things into consideration when making a vehicle purchase. You will never get this money back.

I live in AZ, we don't pay sales tax on used goods, unless you are buying from a dealer, and who does that anyway? Dealers usually know nothing about what they sell anyway, well outside of what the carfax tells them. IMO this kind of double taxation is horrible, I don't know how you guys stand for it, I would just move to a different state, well unless I had some sort of incredible job that afforded me the ability of throwing money completely down the ****ter.

Appreciate all the comments, bump

Picture was taken with a flash and purposely overexposed a little to show the clean interior, in full tint and regular lighting it's not over the top at all. Of course, it's all subjective come check it out in person
