When you're dealing with customer work its difficult to find a shop who will work on it. The tranny whines, but it still works fine. If your a halfway decent mechanic it will take you 3 hours to swap the trans. Its fairly straight forward. As for the rear differential, you'll need to source a used one, bring it to a shop that has experience welding them which they should charge you around $100-150, and toss it in. Its very easy to install the diff. If you're not comfortable working on cars however this is probably not something I'd recommend as a purchase. The car is "turn key" and can be daily driven without any issues. With the way I've driven it it has yet to leave me stranded, but to make it a comfortable daily it just needs those few things.
