There aren't any non-Lexus vehicle classifieds so I've gotta post here. Daughter going to school this fall. I live in the DC area but want to buy something down south where she is (AL) so I don't have to title it twice and drive it down there either. VERY SMALL budget of only a couple grand to spend. will be buying something in the next few weeks. Scouring Craigslist but the cars go fast and tough wading through scams and false descriptions. Doesn't have to be a Lexus. Thanks

There is a "non-Lexus vehicles" classifieds subforum if you look in the General Classifieds section.

Not sure what part of AL your daughter is located, but I would suggest registering and posting a WTB in the classifieds at HSVracing.com A lot of good people there. There have been a few people looking for the same thing there lately and there are usually some good options posted.
