2002 ES300 - 207,000 miles Atlanta
Originally priced at $7499 - Reduced to $5499. Located in Alpharetta and Gainesville. (Tons of pictures posted in the Atlanta craigslist ad).
UPDATE: I have been able to confirm that the timing belt on this car was changed at 151,000 at Toyota of Newnan. the car will need another one in 35,000 miles, almost 3 years from now with average driving.
I bought this car in August 2012 from its original owner, a good friend of mine, who had put on it the first 163,000 miles. The car was bought from Lexus of South Atlanta. I bought it and put on the next 40,000 miles. I have a 70 mile daily commute. The car has proven to be perfectly reliable. All I've had to do to change the engine oil and transmission fluid. Two weeks ago, I had spark plugs changed and the valve cover gaskets replaced.
Things I've replaced on it: front struts KYB GR-2
rear struts Sachs Super Touring
Brand new strut mounts all around.
cabin air filter
tires (in very good condition, have about 20,000 miles on them)
Valve cover gaskets
Spark plugs
That's it, the car has been perfect otherwise. NO LEAKS.
I should mention the brakes. The brakes are absolutely fabulous. The car brakes NOW! Not sure what my friend had done to it before I bought it, but clearly they were well maintained.
The rear headrests have been removed just to accommodate child seats. I
So I have those in a box.
Cosmetically, the car presents a very well. It does have a couple of blemishes with age. Here's what's wrong:
scratch on the left quarter panel (see picture)
scratches on front and rear bumper
The car provides an amazingly comfortable ride. The stereo is the best I have ever heard in a factory stereo, the AC blows cold, airbags galore, interior looks beautiful (two small nicks in the front right door panel). no body or paint work ever. The scratch on the side was courtesy my wife accidentally backing into a mailbox, not a serious event.
I hate to let it go, but it'll be a great car for the next person.

PLEASE READ: 1) Please don't ask what my bottom line price is until you make a cash offer. Otherwise, I've stated my asking price and will entertain all reasonable offers. Unfortunately, I can't bid against myself. 2) I am not interested in any trades of any kind whatsoever. 3) I will not finance the car under any circumstances. Cash buyers only please.
