Hello, recently I've started to throw around the idea of getting a different car just to switch things up.

My current car is a 2001 Lexus GS430. this car has a 4.3 liter V8 making 300hp and 325 torque. This car is really faster than you think. It is also surprisingly light and has a 5 speed auto
Anyway, I was going to do a vip build with this car but then decided i didn't have enough money.

The car has 127k on it (nothing for a lexus V8). The car is in AMAZING shape and has no rust or tears in the leather or anything. I have maintenance records and all major services had been done at a Lexus dealership including timing belt. This car has a TON of luxury features such as mark levinson audio, heated and powered seats, telescoping wheel (which moves up and out of your way was you get up) and if you hold a button on the key fobb, it will open all windows and sunroof.
EXterior:8 some rock chips on hood and small touch up paint areas
Interior: 9.5 almost perfect

I'm very OCD about cars and it has been maintained and taken care of very well. I wax it regularly.
Sell for 7,700 or trade
So what am I looking to trade for? I really want an IS300 again but i am open to other things

Efedude77, after reading through some of your posts I noticed that you posted about having a transmission issue....was this resolved?

Also, in another post you said that the rear subframe had rust but in this ad you state that the car has no rust?

What is the deal with both of these? Why did you leave them out in your original ad? Do you have pictures of this rust and what is the transmission issue?

I'm a potential buyer as I'm in the market and only 150 miles away so I'm not looking to bash the car.

I took the car in for an oil change and was able to look under the car. the car doesnt have deep rust on the subframe its just surface rust but me being very OCD l I want to sand the surface rust off and paint over or use a new subframe. you are welcome to come look. i have attached pics of underside. all clean except rear subframe surface rust and normal exaust rust. mech said it was very very clean for a wi car!

As for the trans issue, the dealer said it could happen sometimes when accelerating going down hill and letting off the gas. The car is still picking up speed causing it to not want to downshift until you're going much slower.
