Default 92 SC300, GTE Swap, BW S372, R154, 750rwhp

Name: Matt
Location: TX
Car: 1992 Lexus SC300
Mileage: ~3000 on motor after build, ~150,000 on body
Title: Clean, in my name
Price: $15,000 OBO
Trade: meh, possibly

UPDATE: I'm getting another car, I need this gone sooner now, as I need space in my garage.
Update: Well, I've picked up another car. Wife is now pisssssed that her car is outside for the time being. lol

Here we go...
Let me start by saying I'm in absolutely no rush to sell my SC. I still drive it, but not much.
I'm just too busy now, don't have the time to appreciate it anymore.
I want something a little more "daily drive friendly"

It does NOT "need a tune"
It does NOT "make an odd engine noise"
It does NOT, well, you get it at this point hopefully.

This SC is a beast, built right.
I didn't build this to be flashy and showy on the outside. It was built to run and to make good power without maxing out the internals.
There are 2 boost settings. Sure, you could raise the boost and probably hit close to 900rwhp, but that wasn't what I was going for.
(low)20lbs: 600rwhp
(high)30lbs: ~750rwhp

Window Regulator is FIXED
TACH is FIXED
GAS GAUGE is Fixed
5 fresh quarts of Motul Competition 300V 15W50 just put in. 4/10/14

I am asking $15,000, this is a ~900rwhp car with the boost turned up.
I AM open to offers. definitely OBO

If you're interested but not close enough to me to come see it on a whim, I have no problem showing this car to other members of Club Lexus you know and trust that are closer, if that makes sense.

Thanks for looking, let me know what questions you have, and if you want photos of something specific you don't see here

I know and understand the time and money that went towards your build. It's apparent that quality and care were taken into heavy consideration with your motor and other parts.

Realizing that SCs simply don't have the bargaining power as Supras --- At the end of the day, it's still a bargain for anyone who's looking to get an SC and build a high horsepower car.

Hope you keep it, but good luck with your sale.

Btw- how's traction for you with the boost set respectively at 20lbs and 30lbs?

Exactly. Thanks for the compliments, yours is absolutely beautiful.
As I said, $20k barely gets you either a clean NA supra or an auto stock high mileage TT. I also don't have to deal with all the d-bags that bother you in a supra
This car is perfect for someone who wants a lot of power...NOW, and either can't or don't want to do it themselves.

My traction is good with my tires, running 275 Drag radials..... As long as its over 50 degrees. I've spun em in 4th when it was 40 degrees outside.
1st and 2nd gear are OK as long as you don't get greedy with the throttle.
At 20lbs its a piece of cake, 30lbs you gotta be a little more respectful with her

And remember, $22k is what I started at, I don't necessarily expect to get that for it, I'm open for offers. I just don't get to play as much as I used to.

Would you please post the dyno graphs showing the 20psi and 30psi of boost? If you would rather email them, let me know and I will PM you my address. Thanks!

it's been a while, can only find this one. This was taken on a day I was tuning, I'm almost certain it was a 30lb run.
This was on a Mustang dyno, which never read as high as a DynoJet. People love dynojet for their higher numbers, usually about 10-15% higher than a mustang dyno.
I have one for a dynojet, but can't find it. Maybe I can go do a couple runs and get one, probably should.

If you can't see the numbers, they read 645rwhp and 639rwtq. The RPMs are off on this one, I make full boost/max power from 4500-7500, which is redline.
