FS: '93 SC300 w/1JZ-GTE VVTI/R154 Trans.
Price - $5,500 Right now I'm willing to entertain offers, No Trades, only cash offers.
Might be willing to part out if I get the engine and transmission sold first.
Car - 1993 Lexus SC 300 (was an auto, Now is a manual).
Mileage on chassis - 216,000 miles.
Mileage on Chaser engine - 63,000 miles.
Engine - 1996 Toyota Chaser Tourer V (1JZ-GTE VVTI).
Transmission - R154 5 speed manual.
Description - I've owned the car since April 2005 and was my daily driver up to May 2012.
The car is pretty much stock with the exception of the newer engine and listed parts below.
The engine is in the car and is almost ready to run, there are just a few more things to do (listed below).
I was going to turn this car into a track drift car but I don't have any time to work on the car any more.
For the engine and parts alone I've spent over $6,000
Modifications:
- Spec Clutch kit (stage 2+).
- Spec light weight steel flywheel.
- Brand new driveshaft ordered through Doug @ U.P. Garage in Tacoma.
- Wire Harness done by Eric @ U.P. Garage in Tacoma.
- New steel braided clutch line.
- New clutch pedal ordered from Lexus of Texas.
- New clutch reservoir ordered from Lexus of Texas.
- Came with a Blitz modified ECU.
- A used Greedy Type S BOV.
- I also have three of the Lexus shop repair manuals for the car.
1. Repair manual volume 1
2. Repair manual volume 2
3. Wire harness repair
Things left to do:
1.) Install an intercooler.
2.) Hook up fuel lines.
3.) Add all fluids including engine oil, trans. oil, & radiator fluid.
4.) Put interior back in (if you want to).
5.) Buy rubber shift boot.
6.) Bleed clutch lines.
7.) Put radiator in.
8.) Put front bumper and headlights on.
9.) Put gauge cluster back in.
10.) Install coil pack cover and cam gears cover.
11. ) Hook up power steering.
If you want pictures of something specific just ask.
