Not only that, I think (assuming) salvaged vehicles should be 30% less than valued.

Sorry guys I've been very busy remodeling my house and barely have time to reply to the posts, the car is still available and I just lowered the price from $25,500 to $24,500, the car has been rear ended "minor damage" Hence the salvage title. Thereafter the car has been professionally repaired to factory specifications and is solid!

I paid $20k for a car very similar to yours in all aspects that has a clean title. Just FYI.

The KBB price on my car with all the options is right at $30k in my area, and the white LS's tend to go just a little bit over the KBB/Edmunds value, how do I know this? It took me almost 2 years to purchase the LS "the guys aren't kidding when they say on this forum that finding a LS 460 is like a second job lol" And every white one I looked at was ALWAYS priced over KBB and the owner or dealer wouldn't budge on the price, maybe it's a California thing , congrats on your LS 460 purchase you're going to love the car.

I am wondering what kind of "minor" rear end accident would total a +$30,000 car (based from your view). If you car is salvage, then your car does not worth even $20,000, no matter what color the car is.

Looks like a Junk Title was issued at some point, which is bad.

Even as bad as that seems/looks, I would probably pay $16k tops. Lol.

The "Junk Title" is a standard process for salvaged title vehicle registration.

Guy's please, if you are not interested in purchasing the car no more irrelevant post's like this. The car is solid and truly did have minor damage, it was lightly damaged to the lower back side and front bumper had minor damage, there is no frame damage or airbags deployed at the time of collision, I have photo's of the damage if anybody would like to see them. There is a few Lexus dealerships here in Sacramento and you are more then welcome to bring the car in for an inspection or bring your own mechanic.

I am kind of interested if everything turns out ok.

Can you post the damaged photos?
Also, how does one know the frame was not damaged?
Did you buy it after the car got fixed up or...?

I am willing to accept the salvaged title for the right price and condition.

Thanks,

Please PM me your email address for the pictures, also I purchased the car from a recommended dealer here in Sacramento, I did have it inspected by a mechanic before I purchased the car and yes there is no frame damage.

Reveiced the pictures. Thanks.

You still have not answered my question about whether you bought it with the damages and fixed it yourself or after the damages were fixed.
