Summary:
Car was purchased in 2007 from the second owner (a young girl in Northern California) 100% factory stock. All maintenance records were maintained since the original owner and are in my possession. Approx. 2 years later I purchased a 1JZ from JHOT motoring which at the time was THE place to get super clean motors from. I waited almost 2 years to find the right motor and this was the one. Completely stock Auto transmission 1JZ with no ecu wires touched. The motor was installed by me personally in my driveway along with every single mod this car has seen. I am very meticulous and very particular with my vehicles and with the mods I choose. Once the install was complete I used the car as a daily driver for approximately 1 year, then it became a weekend car. I purchased another SC as a beater and about 3 months ago I purchased a 2013 Subaru WRX. The car honestly doesn’t get used and I'd rather see someone enjoy it, than for it to just sit there. I am currently purchasing my first home and need some equity, which is why I am posting the vehicle for sale.
I've been told by many that the condition of this SC is ridiculous considering its age. The car has its original paint and has never been in even a fender bender. The interior is also in excellent shape and has ben converted to a black interior, and there are no rips or tears in anything. The motor has been serviced prior to installation with almost all Toyota Factory parts. It currently does not, nor has it ever been on a boost controller or anything other than a factory tune its whole life. All the car has as far as performance upgrades are a 3" Turboback, an intake, and an intercooler. Peak boost is approximately 12 lbs. I was happy with the power it made and never saw a need to increase the output, but with a tune im sure there is much more power to be made. The car runs smooth, absolutely everything works, and to be honest, you cannot really tell than the car had a motor swap until you get pedal happy. The audio system is pretty high end with a carputer and excellent equipment. I used to be an installer for circuit city which is why I went all out. I made a custom fiberglass enclosure for the 12” JLW7 myself, and takes literally no room in trunk and looks almost stock. The rest of the audio equipment is hidden along with the computer. The other mods are pretty self explanatory and can be seen below. People tell me all the time that I have expensive taste and I think it shows when you see the car. The car does not need a single thing, is running great, rides great especially for LA streets, and is ready for a good home. PLEASE do not lowball me as I will simply ignore you. Also please be serious and let’s not waste each others’ time. I work 60 hours a week so if you’re coming to get a “joy ride”, well…just please don’t.
