Looking for either a 2jzgte 2nd gen gs 300 or a clean black interior sport design 2gs and the only reason for the sale is because my family is expanding and a coupe is not at all pratical anymore, I was going to keep this until the end of time but now I am looking for a 4 door but I do not have to sell it as it;s paid for and not hurting anything by sitting in the garage so lowballers please take a long hike

Up for sale/trade is my 1997 Lexus sc400 in factory RSP color(1 of 17 made) on black interior which this is as rare as it gets for the Lexus sc and supra mkiv platform.
Black interior and is a super solid runner with ice cold a/c, Car is very very clean and price is 100% non negotiable as they have sold for much more than my asking price in lesser condition plus no and I mean no rust as it;s been a FL car all of it's life.

I have taken super **** care of this car and only putting on about 600 miles last year and less than 200 this year as it sits in the garage under a cover 99% of the time.

I installed a super rare manual transmission cluster with new bulbs so chassis has 130k on it and cluster shows 170 but the m/t cluster is very hard to find!
V-8 is all aluminum and runs out very strong but not lsx fast

There is minor rock chips and scratches but this is to be expected with a 97.

I really really hate to sell this car as I said I never would but....

Drive this car anywhere with no worries!
Always ran on Royal purple oil
There are minor flaws with the car but shows super well for the age. and I know I am forgetting tons of things I have done to her.

Also I put a new power steering pump in as well as a drift motion power steering line (braided stainless)
Brakes need some miles put on them to properly bed them in(ceramic pads) however there is not enough time in my life to put miles on the car to do this

If this does not sell in the next 3 months or so I will begin the part out as on paper I can still get my asking price in pieces but would rather trade (wife is on me) so I would keep it if I had a place to just park it and forget it.

Ok so I am getting pressured from a lot of people to keep it plus it looks like the trade I had pending is going to fall through which may be the blessing I need to pull the motor/trans and start the swap so I will update asap with my decision.

I will finish my engine build as it's almost done and then end of Jan or begining of Feb I will bring it all together which is the point of no return as I will then have way more in it that it could ever be sold for so I will entertain trades of equal value or will sell for 11k cash.

Are all VIN tags in place? Any accident history?

All of the tags are there except the front fenders as the car was re painted due to the brutal FL sun which it had the typical sun burn/fading on the clear coat.

As far as I can tell the car has been involved in a minor front fender bender with no airbag deployments or anything but nothing shows up on carfax on it so this is just a guess on my part.

Reason the front fenders are missing the vins are because the fenders were painted off the car.

Yea that is about what I am looking for but we have quite a bit of distance between us as I would really like a potential buyer to inspect/drive the car 1st but I am all ears.

Get your trade offers in asap because I am taking delivery of another 4 door car on thursday of this week at which point I will go ahead with my build since I will be forced to keep it which is fine with me as the ONLY reason for thes fs thread is to try to kill 2 birds with one stone and get a 4 door Lexus in which I can swap my big turbo motor in to.

Thanks man^^ I remember your car back when I lived in IL before I bought this one here in Miami area and it's not as flawless as it may look but overall very very clean, Lots of work has gone in to it to preserve it
Swap is nearing the finish point as I am putting the head tomorrow and buttoning it all up tonight and tomorrow.
