I can't believe this car hasn't sold yet. If it wasn't on the west coast I'd be seriously considering this car myself.

You and me both. I'm in no rush really, I just can't give it the attention I would want to at the moment in my life. Otherwise it will just sit until I am ready if it doesn't sell.

But I think the fact that it isn't running is throwing a lot of people off. I have had tons of interest in it over the phone and email.

Really all that happened was the fan clutch bearings went out. So they need to be replaced, replace oil cooler, and the system flushed a few times to make sure there is no metal in the engine. Rebuild the turbo, and basic maintenance. Nothing major there. You would be getting a built car for 1/3 of the price it would take just to buy all the parts...

But we shall see what happens. If it doesn't sell, I will just complete the project myself next year when I have more time.

I think parting it out would make you more money in the long run

Oh it definitely would... With only a few things I would get what I am asking for, I just don't have the time to hassle with it nor do I care too at the moment. Not in a rush.

I know someone who might be interested in the car I will pass on the info... though I don't understand what does the fan clutch bearing going out cause the engine to have to be flushed ? as the fan clutch is outside so is that bearing, so how would the metal shaving possibly get inside the engine ?
