1992 SC400 (one of the original club lexus members) for sale. LOTS of customizations
I'm sadly going to part with my 92 SC400.
It has served me well since 1997 and I've take care of it.
The ONLY reasons I am selling are because, I'm a)OLD b)married c)expecting a baby d)we need an SUV.
Here are the specs for car:
1992 Lexus SC400
Mileage: 192k(which is low considering the year. I have driven 5 thousand miles in the last 5 years..fyi)
Color: Dark Green
Location: Northern California
Interior: Custom black/tan two tone connelly leather that I had installed in 1999. The condition is still good. Sun spot dryness in the shoulders, and creases in the leather from use. I have "west coast customs" car covers on the front seats to preserve the leather.
Momo Aluminum plate with black floormats
Custom black center console and black shifter to match the look
Momo Steering wheel(stock wheel is included as well)
Outside: Custom LED taillights from clearcorners dotcom. (included in the price. minus 500 if you want the stock ones instead). Custom BMW 5 series used HID headlight blacked out conversion(one of kind). 6000k White bulbs. Custom LED foglamps courtesy of clearcorners dotcom. LED light bulb replacements around the whole car.
Suspension/Brakes: TEIN HA coilovers(they handle awesomely, but they are rough). 94 Toyota Supra Brakes with drillled rotors/stainless steel brakelines.
Cleardust brakepads. 18X8.5 Aluminum Strusse 5 spoke wheels. 18X10 Alumin Strusses 5 spokes in the back.
Engine: Added only a Injen Carb certified Air intake w/a weapon-R filter.
ICE: Ecplise DVD/GPS deck with DSP installed. MBquart speakers/tweeters all around. 400 watt amp for the cabin with 200 watt amp in the trunk for the 10" woofer. More than enough power for this car. Python remote alarm system w/remote start.
Maintenance: All major work for this car done by ExactMotorsports in Milpitas. All the service records are there.
ICE maintenance: Stereo installation done by Sound Performance in Redwood City, CA.
Performance: The car runs great. The tires are new, brakes or more than 50% wear on them, and just finished the 200k service even though it's 192k in miles. New Belts, water pump, alternator, battery, hoses, and plugs. The car will run another 20k plus before it needs anything else. 190k tranny was replaced with one that had 50k miles on it. The car was garaged most of it's life w/me until 2006 when I moved and also got married later. It has lived outside for 3 years and it's time to find it a new home.
NEVER raced. Only used as a commuter car up until 2006 and since then has just been used for short trips to the grocery store.
PRICE: Asking 3500 FIRM. Take out the custom tailights and it's 3000
Why customize your car, when you can buy mine fully customized.
There is over 15k in upgrades in this car. My loss is your gain.

I am not interested in piecing out the cars parts. I'd like to find a buyer who will be this car as a whole. Serious buyers only.
I do NOT have to sell it. If I don't find a reasonable offer I will keep it. I would just like to see if I can get the price I want and one of my club lexus members can benefit.

update on the car. Off the market.
Hey guys,
Just wanted to let you know that my wife and I have taken the car off of the market.
Some personal stuff happened with our budget so we were originally going to buy another car but we won't be able to afford it anymore. We're going to have to keep my car.
I may still put the car on the market later this year or early next. I will let you know if you are still interested. The price will be lower too.
