FS: 1993 SC300 5Spd Hardtop
To all that are interested,
I have decided to place my 1993 Hardtop Graphite Metallic Lexus SC300 5-Speed Manual up for sale. It’s something I hate to do but in order to move onto the next chapter in my life, I have to.
This SC has approximately 212K miles on the body/frame and transmission. It is a clean title vehicle with a Carfax and the Title on hand. All services were performed at a Lexus Dealership after me acquiring this vehicle back in 2006. The oil was always exchanged regardless of mileage every 3-4 months, using only Mobil 1 Synthetic oil and OEM filters. All mods have also been installed by the Lexus people or a highly reputable specialized local shop. I have all receipts and repair orders to all services, including receipts of purchased aftermarket products.
The vehicle was also re painted OEM Graphite Metallic back in late 2006-early 2007. The interior is stock grey cloth, which was an ultra-rare option. My goal was to create a nice looking, reliable, and drivable SC. I believe I achieved this goal. This vehicle can be driven daily without any hesitation. So now I'll be able to pass this vehicle onto a new lucky owner.My asking price is $5,000. I believe this is a fair asking price given how much I've put into her and given how rare she is (Most like only 4-5 cars ever built in this configuration - this is the only one I've ever seen in this rare color). I bought this SC for $6k fours years ago and this SC has come along way from where it was. I have a photo album containing each step along the way, which will be forwarded to the new owner. I will also include many extras, which will be disclosed to the buyer after purchase.
The Good:
Exterior:
- 97+ Body Conversion including the rear spoiler (minus the door mouldings)
- 97+ Tail Lamps
- 95+ Glass housing High Beam lenses
- Stub Antenna (was already on car from previous owner)
- JDM Window Rain Deflectors
- New OEM Paint applied in 2007
Interior:
- OEM Cloth interior
- Leather Nardi Steering Wheel (was already on car from previous owner)
- JDM Soarer rear tunnel mat
Performance:
- Greddy SP Exhaust
- BFI modified Intake
- Walbro 255 Fuel Pump (was already installed on car from previous owner...idk why but car runs like stock...lol)
Electonics:
- LLC Combo Meter (16 Blue BackLights and Red waterfall needles) – Backlight currently out, but all needles work just fine
- Hella/Phillips HID kit
Suspension:
- HKS Hipermax RS Coilovers (only 10-12k miles of easy driving)
- Cusco Carbon Fiber STB
- Supra Turbo Sway Bars – Rears not installed (needs 1 Supra subframe mount)
- H&R 5mm Spacers(rear)
Brakes:
- LS Front Brakes w/ Cross Drilled and Slotted Rotors (40-50% pad life remaining front and rear)
Wheels/Tires:
- OEM Supra TT Wheels(rear tires are new and fronts are between 40-50% remaining)
-Spare is a TT front rim
OEM:
- New Cylinder Head assembly and Gasket Kit
- New Radiator assembly
- New Rear Main and Front Pump seals
- New Timing Belt/Water Pump/Cam and Crank Seals
- New Oil Pan and Gasket and Dipstick O-Ring
- New Distributor Cap and Rotor assembly
- New Spark Plugs and Wires
- New EGR Modulator Assembly
- New Lower Mid Cross member assembly
- New Engine and Transmission Mounts
- New Steering Rack and Pinion assembly
- New Battery
- New Intake Tube
- New Shifter Bezel and Boot and ****
- New Center Console Surround Trim with fold-out Cupholder
- New Supra Turbo LCA's
- New Right Rear Wheel Bearing

The Bad:
- Backlight on combo meter out(don’t really have the time to fix it)
- Odometer shows a tad over 128k. This is because the car came with another combo meter that was re-worked by the famous OLT.
- Vehicle is NOT in perfect condition – there are very minor scratches and dings that accumulated over the course of the last 3 years. I will be going over the vehicle in detail with the interested party or person.
- Dash Vent cracked(common problem)
- All wood panels were painted poorly painted by someone before me.
- Driverside interior window trim was also repaired poorly by previous owner. The interior was my next focus but I never really was motivated to.
- Rear center sub/speaker blown
Tail lamp failure indicator comes on when brakes are operated due to the 97+ tail lamps
- Front bumper will need to be repainted soon (Rock chips from normal driving)
- Passenger headlamp lense is starting to collect condensation, so a new pair of headlamps would not be a bad idea.
- Vehicle will need a good detail, inside and out
Vehicle will be serviced before sale. I do prefer a local sale simply because I would like to show the vehicle in person. So locals gets dibs at this time. This vehicle is located in the Oxnard/Ventura area, which is about an hour north of Los Angeles. I will only accept cash or a certified check. definetly goodluck, new Bass boat sounds like fun
even with a little minor TLC the car sounds like a deal to me.
