WTB: 1997 sc300 or 1998+ sc400
So I finally sold my sc400 and am in the market for an upgrade.
The lower the mileage the better (no more than 130,xxx preferred). MINOR mods are okay. I am looking for:
1 - 1997 sc300 (5spd would be nice, heh). Intend on doing a manual conversion. Prefer a black interior, PLEASE have a spoiler, winter package preferred, any exterior color except beige.
2 - 1998+ sc400. Black interior, any exterior except beige. Winter package preferred.
(3 - If anyone's got a clean 1JZ-GTE manual, show me what you've got and I'll consider it.)
I am currently in Vancouver, BC but I travel down to Cali 1-2 times a month for business. I'm flying down to LA about a week and am wanting to look at a few cars, and drive one back. I am willing to travel as far as New Mexico to pick up a car. Obviously anything closer, such as WA or OR is better.
Show me what you guys got! 1 picture, mileage, price and a contact phone number or email will suffice. I'll contact anyone whose car I am interested in!

A week looking and no responses!?! Common boys and girls, there's gotta be the perfect SC out there that I'm missing in my searches!
I have 2-3 SC's that I'm looking at but, 2 I'd be settling on (cuz they're White/Tan), another one I'm 2 grand short and it'll most likely be gone by the time I get it!

I've tossed around the idea of selling mine. It is bone stock. It is rare gem. I bought it with the intentions of building a monster, but haven't done anything with it in years. It is a 97 Steel Blue on black leather with a manual transmission. It has 120K miles. The car is in very good shape, runs great. I wouldn't even know what I'd want for it, I don't really even know if I want to sell it. I would want a premium price if I were to sell it though. I know you just don't come across 97 black leather 5 speeds everyday either. Shoot me an offer.

My father now owns my '99 SC300 I imported 2 years ago. It is black on black and has roughly 115k miles on it. Very nice condition, clean title, etc. He'd be looking for around $13-15k I'm guessing, if you're interested I will get a firm number and send you some pics.

Alright guys, my search isint going so well and I'm getting anxious. So I'm going to modify my WTB a bit..
I'm still looking for the a nice 1997 sc300, or 1998+ sc400..
But now I'm also going to include ANY sc300 5spd!!!! I have a lot of money that I want to throw around and no ones giving me anything!! lol. SO, if you have a nice LOW MILEAGE 5spd you've been debating on selling for any reason, show me what you've got and I'll shoot you an offer.

i understand where you coming from, i'm sure you can find your dream SC if you hold out.. I had mine shipped all the way from cali!
cause i had to have black interior 5spd..

I don't think that's too many for it's year, it's about right for a 14 year old car. I'm just sepcifically looking for a 'newer' Lexus with 'low' mileage. I would have made an exception for his even tho it wasn't the newer one I was looking for, but I couldn't do so with the combination of both..
