FS: '93 Lexus GS 300 1st Gen
Yo what's going on fellas'.
I'm a 1st gen GS 300 enthusiast who recently stumbled on this website. Really pleased with what i've read/seen thus far. Hope to contribute outside of this sale in the near future!
That said, I'm in need of raising capitol so one of my babies has to go. Below is my sales pitch:
"This is a (2) owner 1993 Lexus GS300 1st Gen body style. Burgandy paint w/ gold trim, tan interior. I bought it from the first owner a few months ago, making me the second owner. I intended to soup this particular vehicle up as the interior is near flawless for it's age, and the body/frame is in perfect condition (no accidents ever).. but another deal fell in my lap I just can't pass up. Included with this auction is (4) 17" high performance Ecsta Supra Tires (245/45Z) R17 w/ matching Chrome MB Motoring rims. Theirs a few little nicks in the Chrome etc. But nothing major. I'm not entirely sure how many miles the tires have on them, but they're not very worn looking. I'd imagine they have plenty of miles left on them. The odometer reads 192,246 miles. The timing belt, alternator, and belts were replaced in December of 05 (12/09/05) @ 172,272 miles. I had plan to put a low mile JDM 2JZGTE motor in this vehicle. I haven't noticed any leaks of any kind, so to my knowledge, thier is none. The AC blows ice cold, and works fast. Heater and all other climate controls the same. Sound system is the Nakamichi Gold package - all speakers + 10" woofer work great. The tape player works fine, as does the AM/FM radio. Also included is a 12-disc changer loaded in the trunk, which works well. Sometimes it errors in loading, but all you have to do is switch to the radio, wait a second, and then rehit the CD button. All the power windows work, power seats, etc. Dash illuminates properly. Fluids are all topped @ present time. The car was gone through by JayCee Imports in Texas prior to my purchase, and I only put maybe 3-400 miles on it since purchase several months ago. (2) keys will come included. I recetly replaced the hydrolic arms for the hood so those are new, and while I haven't installed them, I'll include a BRAND NEW pair for the trunk hydrolic arms. Breaks are tight/touchy, not sure exactly how much life they have but i'd imagine 60-70%. All interior lights work as they should, as do the external lights/break lights. There is no shuttering at high speeds when breaking, and no chugging/shuttering in the transmission when accelerating through the gears. I did notice when I put the car in reverse, an occassional timing issue like a slight pull, but other then that, transmission is great. Engine is very clean for it's age as well. The cherry on the cake though is the interior. For a '93, it's nearly flawlessly. I mean the photos tell the story, but really, hardly any cracking/wrinkling whatsoever. The previous owner was a teacher at Texas state! You can tell he didn't have any animals or children! Handling is very nice, very Lexus. The only FLAWS I can think of is a small indentation/light scrape in the pain on the back driverside bumper where it appears somene sideswipped the car. Also theirs a good deal of paint chipping on the lower part of the front bumper. The hood has some swirl marks and fading from the sun, but really, this is all very minor. A fresh paint job would really set this car over the top. I'm starting this auction off with a low reserve, BuyItNow includes shipping!
