Who has the title???
the car was not bought to be driven on public roads since its mainly a display car. once u buy the car u can take it down to your local DMV and fill out some forms, get the car inspected, and register it (this is when the car is issued a title!!)
normally a car is issued a title at the dealer but i suspect that TL got the car from Lexus itself.

does the car have a VIN #? if so, then you should be able to get the title through Lexus...
thats weird though, so many miles for a "show/display car"...how could you drive that car? was it registered and insured?

I am assuming the car was "donated" or signed off by Lexus (to Team Lexus) as a gift/project car? I really don't see how you can "legally"/Formally sell this car without a title.

I'd be interested to know if the car has a VIN. Normally cars "donated" to factory backed teams are not given a VIN and cannot be titled. That's why most magazine project cars head to the crusher at the end of their term.

The car does have a VIN. This car was the very first Sportcross. We were able to drive through the use of a dealer tag, which has a registration on it.
