F/S 1996 Black on Black SC400 in Houston ($4,500 w/o wheels / $5,500 with wheels now)
I am reluctantly going to be selling my car. I am moving on to newer and better things. (SC430!)
The Car:
1996 SC400
Black Onyx Exterior
Black Leather Interior
About 183,000 miles.
My initial asking Price: $4,500 (negotiable)
**For an extra $1,000 Im willing to toss in my Work Euroline SL's**
Work Euroline SL specs:
-19" Work Euroline SL's (19X8.5 and 19X9.5)
-Front Tires- Hanook Ventus 235-35-19 Z (probably going to need replacing in the next 6 months or so)
-Rear Tires- Goodyear Eagle F1 255-35-19 Z (about 1 month old)
(rear tires were replaced due to a screw in the drivers side rear tire that damaged the inner-wall of the tire to an un-repairable point, so I just replaced both rear tires.)
***$1,000 is a deal folks, the two rear tires were $600 for gods sake! lol***
This car has been in the family since it was BRAND NEW. My dad bought it from Westside Lexus in Houston in 1996. I got the car when he got his 2002 SC430. Almost all of the miles on the car are highway miles, as my dad used it to communte to work and back (1 hour drive each way on I-45), as have I.I drive this car daily to and from work (about 70 miles total per day) and I have had no problems. The engine just had a tune up at a local Toyota dealership where they inspected gaskets, installed new O2 sensors, checked the spark plugs, installed new brake pads and machined the rotors, and changed the oil.
Currently the car has the following aftermarket parts installed:
-Legal Tint on Driver and Passenger side window and 20% tint on back windows (Tint was done approx. 6 months ago)
-Tokico Shocks
-Espelir ASD Springs
-Daizen Adjustable Sway Bars
-Custom JIC Twin Spartan Exhaust (had custom Y-Pipe built so a JZZ30 exhasut could hook up to a UZZ30.
-Kenwood headunit with custom mount made by Cartoys
-4X4.5" Boston Acoustic's for Mids and Highs being pushed by a Kicker amp
-1X12"Audiobahn in the trunk being pushed by a JL amp
Problems-
Exterior:
-Oxidation is visible on hood and slightly on roof and the hood has clear coat peeling up.
-Door Dings
-Front Drivers Side Fender has dent from a meeting between the car and the edge of my garage
-Needs new antenna motor (antenna does not go up, but I still get radio reception...)
Interior:
-Most of the leather looks good... Driver seat and passenger seat show signs of wear (the leather is 10 years old for gods sake!)
-The cover for the open air sub has a crack that is only visible when out of the car.
So whatelse is included?
-Stock sway bars if you want them
-4 Stock 16" SC400 Wheels if you want them
-Stock springs if you want them
Needless to say, you get a heck of a car for the money. I would really like to see this car go to someone who has been wanting to get into the Lexus scene! This car would also make an excellent part car for anyone wanting to swap in a black interior... Also- if anyone would like to buy the car WITHOUT the drop, I am willing to re-install the stock springs for them... but who doesn't like dropped Z30 SC's?
I think the price is very fair, but Im open for negotiations. If anyone would like to see the car, please feel free to call me at (281)770-1092 (that is my Cell Phone and it is on me ALL the time.) My god! if you were closer & i could find a buyer for my Explorer, i would come pick that bad boy up right now. That's a hell of a deal.

Im glad to see that there is some interest. Im going to offer a deal here... how does $5,500 sound for everything. You get the wheels included in that folks!
I hope the pictures above gave you some insight into the exterior's problems, I will take some shots of the interior soon for you all.

Guys, I think that some of you are a bit confused. Im trying to not PART out the car right now. I have gotten several PM's about them. If I decide that I am going to take the parts off and sell, then the wheels will be priced much higher than this. Please don't think Im going to sell my less than a year old Works for $1,000! Im only offering them at this price WITH the car as an incentive.
This would be a great car for somebody that wanted black interior, sways, wheels and exhaust, then part the rest on here and probably make your money back, or close to it.
