I think it is trying too hard. It's a good start but they need to work on the grill for starters. It looks like it's big enough to swallow any car in front of it. I like the lines.

If it looks ANYTHING like that - I will buy one, whether it has a 2 litre turbo or a 5 litre V8 twin turbo in it! t will takes YEARS before we get one here in Australia any way! Sad face

it's striking for sure but will it have the right touch?

first, we only have a profile view here at best but more importantly, for me, is how it connects to the road. some of us geezers that own these pups still need to feel. as we age, we lose some so it becomes even more important. here's what i can share:

i decided to try the cts-v coupe since it was a last-call this yr. i did it as a goof but that experience has changed my life! sure it's a gm pos with horrific infotainment problems but the ride (suspension / power) - ooh, the ride! yes, i did give the rc-f a first shot but the rc-f sport had much better balance, so that was a no-go. then i drove the v and i knew immediately! so i've had the v for 9 mos now and already had to buy tires after 6 with 14k - ouch!! but even the 16 mph city doesn't bother me with this pup. as a result my 13' ls4 (22k miles) gets very little play these days. hell, the battery charger is in it more than me.

so, if lex can figure out how to make the performance come together as a pkg, i'm all in. there are rumors of an ls 500 f with a twin-turbo putting out >600 hp. that would help if they can figure out 1) the shift points and 2) the handling. methinks, a mag suspension helps them lots with the latter. the current ls dial-your-own with the air is cute but ineffective. mags give it to u right now and they dynamically adjust to the road. for a 2 ton beaut, the ls handles ok if u like buicks but, the cts-v is also 2 tons, so it can be done. my '13 gx handled better than this '13 ls, k! i prefer cars that can do 14s though.

lex would do well to lose some arrogance and pay attention to these blogs. i won't buy german (bmw/benz/audi) - too many problems; but i'd like to enjoy a good ls for things other than long road trips.

. . . so long post but that's my 2 cents.
