Hey guys, new to these forums, but not new to Lexus. In fact I work for a large Lexus dealership.
I recently was at one of the Lexus training centers. While there I probed one of the instructors to get as much info about future Lexus vehicles. I will share this info with you guys!

First the confirmed cars;

- The NX will begin sales in approx 1 year. The current pictures on the Lexus site are NOT what it will look like, according to him its looks even better.

- The RC too will begin sales in approx 1 year the current pictures on the Lexus site are accurate.

- There will be a RCF, this will be the new ISF. He has seen a pre-production version of this car and said it looked absolutely sick.

- The LF-LC will come to market. it is meant to be a more obtainable LFA they're going after acceleration numbers with it. Currently they are saying it will be priced around 150k although he fears this figure will go up.


Now the new motors;

- There will be a 2.0L turbo motor. this will go in the IS250, NX, and RC250 confirmed

- There will be a twin turbo v6, strong suspicion that this will be in the GX to replace the current motor.

- There will be a twin turbo v8, his best guess was that this will be in the RCF

- There will be a v8 hybrid designed specifically for performance, this will be in the LF-LC

Thanks for the info. Do you know when the 2.0T will show up in the IS250? Some have said the next model year.

So if the IS250 gets the turbo 4, does that mean that the 350 will get the twin turbo 6 since it's not mentioned that it will share the turbo 4 with the 250?

I believe this is correct. It only makes sense that the rc, nx, and is250 will get the 2.0t at the same time. However in the past this hasnt really happened, think '06 gs300 and '06 is350.

The 350 will keep the same engine. let's face it, the 250 4gr motor kinda sucks, carbon build up etc... Lexus knows this, they lost a ton of money on this motor, it's gone they're replacing it with the 2.0t, better emissions. the 350 motor though is pretty freaking good no need to change it yet.

maybe the twin turbo v8 is for the GSF?

I was under the impression that since the 250 is getting a turbo 4 the 350 would get a turbo 6 to increase it's HP and fuel efficentcy to compete with others like the 3 series and ATS. I'm guessing the 4T would crank out around mid 200 HP so it doesn't make sense the 350 will only have 50 or so HP more.

Since RC-F is confirmed to have an N/A V8, I'm guessing it'll be the GS-F that's getting the turbo V8.

I've heard of most of what you said, we shall see come GENEVA Autoshow in March and NYC Autoshow in April for the actual PRODUCTION news
