It looks like the 27th is only part of what is doing here.

I was invited to a LFA introduction (indoor lifestyle event) in Chicago on Feb 3rd.

Due to meeting travel issues I can't make that event.

I have a contact at Lexus who I have been working with during the last month. I got in touch with him today and he invited me for a ride at Homestead with Mr. Pruett (on the Monday before).

Where should I stay near the track and would it matter if I flew into Miami or Fort Lauderdale?

Thanks

There are a few chain hotels in the Homestead area. If you're looking just a place to stay, just book locally in Homestead. If you want a little ritzy, but about a 45 min drive away, you can stay in South Beach. I would fly directly into MIA. Ft Lauderdale is too far.

BTW, please don't double book time slots for this event, they will weed out duplicate entries. One per guest only.

Thanks Flipside,

I have been leaning toward the approach you mentioned.

I like Miami and will fly in on Sunday and hang out there.

The Lexus folks were nice enough to offer to pick me up Monday, bring me to Homestead and then to the airport after the session is done.

My understanding is that on Monday and Tuesday, there will be a morning and an afternoon session.

Each session will have 6 participants.

The session includes a couple of hours of tech talks related to the LFA and then a couple of laps with SP at the wheel. One lap on the handling course and one lap getting up to 150 mph.
