Default The LF-S needs bigger tails

Browsing around the Lexus-Japan website with a friend taking Japanese here at USC (no we didn't discover anything new - though that was my hope), I took a second look at the LF-S concept, a design for which I don't have a very high regard.

Anyway - I really dislike the rear. But I found with a few seconds in photoshop (I'm not at all practiced, much less "l337" w/ PS) that all it really needs is more avalon-eque tails.

The squarish rear end needs to stop. The new IS is bad enough already.

I'm not all for the hatchback-ish rear end on a LARGE sedan... its fine for a tiny car.... but i think the LS... if it is indeed gonna be similar to this needs a real, more conventional looking sedan trunk.

for big rear end cars i really think the tailights need to occupy a lot of it to make it look good. for instance the g35 coupe rear lookin better than the 350z rear.

the car is too understyled. too many flat, flush surfaces, needs some lines in it to make it sexy and give it character. Look at the beltline on the Benz CLS and how it makes the car very stylish.

Im not feelin that rear end at all. The tails are too small, and overall like others have said the back is too flat and understyled.

I don't understand or like the hatchback look on a luxury sedan either

even the 3rd gen GS has the hatchback look.
