Nissan, Lexus Fight To Be 'Ring King
Wish they had pics of the two cars running side-by-side for the win.

Nissan, Lexus Fight To Be 'Ring King
Supercar builders Nissan and Lexus have been battling it out on the track, even though their models won't go on sale until next year. Our sources report that competition between the Japanese giants is so intense, test drivers came close to crashing into one another.
The duo had apparently been dicing over track space at the Nürburgring in Germany, where the two coupés are currently being developed. According to our eyewitness, both the Lexus LF-A and Nissan GT-R are extremely quick, and in the hands of the experienced engineers have been setting ever faster laps. As the pair headed for a corner, neither driver would settle for second place, and they nearly made contact. Both machines are tipped to appear at the Tokyo Motor Show in October.

If Lexus were smart, they'd take the 10 engineers working on the LF-A interior and assign them to the power or suspension portion of the car, maybe get them drunk so they forget to put in the VDIM . Since Nissan has one 5 year old working on the interior of the next GT-R and 100 engineers trying to figure out how to get more power out the 3.2 VQ..
Just joking, please don't get the panties in a bunch. Its great to see both companies have a good rivalry and some cars to challenge the best from Europe!!
Kudos to Nissan and Lexus
THe Japanese really are on an all out assualt and we've seen first hand what they can do. This could be scary. The benchmark is the 911 Turbo for the GT-R, not sure what benchmark the LF-A is using, my guess would be the F430.

yea i think this report is BS
we all know lexus isn't going to sell the LF-A... they have had 3 concepts now and dont ever sell any of them
they are design hints for their new models in the future.... HIGHLY doubtful they would put the LF-A on the track and test it against a future nissan.
besides the fact that the LF-A has 500+hp or something(doesn't it?)
