IDK if this qualifies but here goes. The now ill-fated Team Lexus IS350TT. I miss my babies

IS350TT? I thought those cars were naturally-aspirated, making close to 500HP from the 3.5L V6?

I do agree, it is a big shame that those cars never actually raced. Would have loved to see them. I hope we see more IS-Fs racing in the future.

No these weren't N/A at all. The were 750hp twin turbo V6s. The team that bought them turned them into N/A V8s

Thanks for the info, didn't know that. Regardless, TT V6s with 750HP sounds pretty amazing!

Yes they did. They were repainted and taken over from Team Lexus aka Performance Engineering Inc. to DRC Motorsports for one season. They were not factory backed and the V6's was removed in place of a 4.7L V8 (not IS F 2UR-GSE motor)

LOL that's not a kit. Getting an IS-F to look like that required a tremendous amount of custom fabrication and body work. This definitely won't be released as a "kit."

Why would it take anymore work than say a widebody Supra or MR-2 kit?

Let's forget the shaved door handles and the interior for a second......

Bumpers, fenders, Skirts, fibreglass work at the back...

It's a lot more work than you may realize. The doors (not just the door handles) were heavily modified, along with completely new front & rear bumpers, new hood, rear view mirror delete, fog light replacment and relocation, among other things. It was just never built or intended with mass production in mind - just a concept build for Lexus at SEMA 2 years ago. I agree with you though, i'd be willing to plunk down some serious cash to get my car to look like that! It's probably my favorite concept build of all time.
