One thing I just want too know how much the car will way.

$75k for a V10 would be quite a bargain and $20k less than the competition. It would be nice, but I don't think they will let it go that cheap.
There is also a LS coupe coming out and most likely an IS coupe. So I see a chance for Lexus to really make a ultra high end car. Perhaps carbon fiber, V10 rocket like the LS-F.

$120,000 for the LF-A would be nice.
$150,000 - $170,000 Lexus would be nice to see but I think most people would rather drive a Aston Martin for that price.
Thats just me.

$71,000 is the STARTING price of the LS460L, if loaded with the executive package, it's already about $94K. The LS600hL should be about $110K-$115K loaded already. The LF-A could be more than that, the question is by how much ? I personally hope they wouldn't price it much more, I'm hoping not too much more than $120K as well . . .

This car is gorgeous.
The Astons might be prettier, but faced with the choice I'd pick the lexus, for its V10 and race inspired hardware at the same or similar price.
Damn! Carbon Ceramin brakes!!!
Did anyone notice the 9000 rpm redline? Ive heard clips of this engine rev as well as seen videos of it at the ring. It sounds as beautiful as it looks now.
The interior is pretty cool as well. And whats that they say about an sequential gearbox? Score!!!
Put on some proper rear view mirrors and ship it to me as is. Thanks, cheque is in the mail

If the LF-A starts at $120k, and a Vantage is $130k, I'd go for the Vantage!!!

I dunno, with only 380 hp out of a 4.3 V8, the Vantage is positively tame

I would take a DB9 & a Vanquish over the LF-A, but probably not a V8 Vantage for about the same price

LS-F as what I wanted before???
Oh man, that's what I want! Screw the CL55 amg
Anyways, the new LF-A is much much improved over the last design.
Interior is stttttuuuunnning, even the rims to match
If priced no more than $120k, definitely put me on the list

The LFA looks very good and almost production ready although the nose is a little busy and odd looking from some front angles. It manages to have a pretty exotic look and still be front engined. Interior is nice too. As for price I think 90K-105K is about where it should be. If they price it too much over 100K I think even Lexus is going to have a tough time selling it. Once you go over 100K prestige and heritige start to really play into th purchase and Lexus does not really have over 100K type prestige at this point. People who can afford cars over 100K can afford 150K-185K Aston Martins, Bentley Continental GTs, new Porsche Panamera coupes, etc and that is some pretty stiff competition.

Aston Martin DBS (V12 500 hp): $250,000 US
vs.
Lexus LF-A (V10 500+ hp): $120,000+ US
------------------------------------------------
Also Ferrari planning a new F probably a V10 also. The new F430 starts at around $180,000.
Also the GT2 comes out soon. Probably be like $110k US.
If some how the LF-A starts at $170k US the Lamborghini Gallardo only $5k more.
Alot of people would probably go for something they know that will do well, saying Lamborghini or Porsche or Aston Martin.
****, if I had the money I would get an Aston Martin and the Lexus.
One thing for sure this will the most radical Lexus.

sorry, i know everyone will disagree but i dont see the lf-a costing nearly as much as most think.
for one thing, lexus still delivers value. look at the is vs 3 series. look at the gs vs 5 series. look at the ls vs 7 series and s class...and this is looking at cars that have been out where lexus is taking some liberties on pricing. where lexus competes for the first time, they tend to offer even more value.
with the m6 costing $100k and 911 turbo costing $120k, and the AMV8 as well as Ferrari's new entry not costing that much different, I really believe Lexus will come in on the lower side. I think the LF-A will be an $80-90k car.
V10 500hp sounds like a lot now, and it is, but that's what the M6 already delivers. Ceramic brakes can already be had on the 911 turbo. Based on this, I really don't see Lexus going that high in pricing with this car. I'm not saying $90k is cheap- its not- but I just think that's more in line with Lexus latest business strategies and if you look at the marketplace, thats more in line with where this car should be.
