92 SC400 Nakamichi, rear speakers don't work
I just bought a 92 Lexus SC400 with Nakamichi
- The two rear speakers do not function at all
- Yes fade & balance is set properly
- The sub works fine
- I took an old speaker and touched it to the wires that go to the each of the rear speakers and it worked. So at this point I would assume both rear speakers are blown ? Any suggestions on where I can get Nakamichi rear speakers ? also does anyone know what size these speakers are ? What brand are the actual speakers ? Because the ones that are in there don't say nakamichi or pioneer on them.

I'll say it before the mods get you. "Search"
They are 4", this is a common failure on older SC's. Do a search and you will see how to remove the back seat and back deck in order to get them out, etc.

Racer
A search will also reveal the fact that many SC owners have replaced the Naks with other types of 4", 5.25" and 6.5" speakers costing much less than what dealers charge for the Naks.
