I am looking at replacing the stock Pioneer head unit in my SC because some of the color is worn off on the buttons. My question is will any non Nakamichi SC radio work?

there are 6 different models of pioneer system(non nakamichi)radios. i need to know what the id number is on the cassette flap door and i can tell you which models of the radio compatible with yours. if you want to switch over to nakamichi system ....now is the time to do it. soon the price will be going up when the cars end up in collections. in 2015 when cars are near 25 years old the collectors will want the original sound systems back and todays 2003 high powered aftermarket systems will be worthless just like the best aftermarket systems from the 80s are now. 1967 corvette original am fm radios are worth 750.00 right now so no telling what an sc nakamichi system will be worth in the future. if your interested in the 4 models of nakamichi radios i have started a new thread with that information.
