Havent seen this posted anywhere so I figured i would post it here and give people some insight and let it be known that it can be done. right now im running this sub off the stock amp for now it must see nothing lower than 2 OHMS. I couldnt stand the factory stereo in this car so i finally got around to starting my project which includes a jl xd 700/5, fix86 image dynamics id8d4, jl audio c5 components all around. If anyone decides to go this route let me tell you, you have your work cut out for you. If you can find a bracket thats made to house an aftermarket sub in the stock opening you can save a ton of time.

Funny that you posted this. I just tore my car a part and installing a full system utilizing the rear deck. Let me know how that ID8 works out in IB set up.
