Default GROM V.S. VIAS Bluetooth (LS430 2001)

Hi All,

I've been the proud owner of an LS430 2001. The controls for the radio (both the direct controls and the steering wheel controls) recently gave out and are non responsive to power, tuning, volume, and source. I've decided to take this opportunity to give the electronics a bit of update by installing some way to use my iPhone to play through the car stereo via bluetooth. I'm between to models: The VAIS SL3b-L and the Grom BT3. Has anyone had either or both of these for their LS430? are there any issues with reliability, sound quality, installation ect ect? Has anyone had to uninstall or return them and if so, for what reason?
