Default AUSDOM A261 dash cam review

Hey guys, I recently got this Ausdom A261 dashcam and decided to do a write up on it.

With the growing popularity of dash cams recently and the necessity for one in NY. I decided to get one to try out, and so far i caught a lot of idiot drivers on the cam.

got mine from here: http://goo.gl/h5j0Ir use code: GBAD261 to get it for $86.99.

some specs that stood out for me was:

Built-in GPS for tracking
Video resolution: 2560 x 1080 30fps 21:9 / 2304 x 1296 30fps 16:9 / 1920 x 1080P 30fps 16:9 / HDR 1920 x 1080P 30fps 16:9 / 1280 x 720 60fps 16:9 / 1280 x 720 30fps 16:9

the quality is actually really crisp at 2560x1080p, i was shocked because I thought it was going to look like it was shot with a potato. I'll attach some videos down below.

Pros:
Great video quality
Affordable
Wide angle to capture the whole front of the car
Small in size so it could be hidden behind the rearview mirror

Cons:
Application that came with the camera is buggy. They dont have a updated program yet but when I tried using their program, it crashed after attempting to play the video.
No optional hardwire harness, the dangling wires makes my OCD go crazy.

Heres what it looks like out the box

Dont forget to play in HD!

Nightime footage
