I'm in the process of replacing my factory base Pioneer stereo with an aftermarket Alpine radio. The kit came with the Metra 70-8112 harness, but, the 70-8112 connector is wrong for my application and won't function with my factory harness.

I hate to hack up and splice into the factory harness if another option exists. The Scosche TA04B appears to be the same as the Metra 70-8112. Does anybody know if another aftermarket harness available that will work with the factory LS400 Pioneer setup?

Solution found. The Metra 70-1761 adapter harness worked perfectly with the factory base Pioneer stereo.

Now, I just need to get everything put back together! : )

Does this retain the use of the factory subwoofer?

Sadly, no.
However, I've read there are ways to modify the harness so the factory subwoofer functions, but I have yet to try any of these options.
