Broken is250 touch screen.. kinda
Hi,
So my 2007 is250 now has what appears to be a broken touch screen. I've done enough reading to learn what is usually the cause and what the fix is. I've got the tools and have no problem taking it apart and fixing it. I have a question though for any that have also experienced this:
It seems that, if I go to the "Info" screen, the screen is responsive to touch. My question is whether or not this is still indicative of a faulty connector. The thing is, when on the "Info" screen, the touch is not being registered with accurate screen coordinates. Since I'm unable to press the "I agree" button on the "Language" screen, any touch on the "Info" screen automatically just takes me to the "Language" screen since I still owe them an "I agree" click. So, I'm just wondering if "Yes" - this is how it behaves in the regular broken case or "No" - something else is wrong. Thanks.
