Turbo5upra, why not two 8s and a 10" in the stock location? By going that route, I'm thinking you could actually downsize the two 8s to 6" (for similar impact) and hardly have to modify anything on the parcel shelf, other than reinforcing it.

I used a Dayton driver from P-E to build my 18" home subwoofer and have been very happy with it.
