Default How to upgrade a Gen 5 Nav system

I just bought a used 2009 LS 460 (I love it!) and the nav system has never been updated. My question is: do I just buy and install the latest upgrade DVD, or do I need to install each upgrade since the car was purchased?

Thanks for your help!

Never mind! After doing some research, I found out that the nav system must be upgraded by the dealer. This is because the 2009 LS460 uses a hard drive for the updates and only the dealer can do it. Darn!

Connect the iPhone with Vaistech iVIC to the Lexus and ask Siri to guide you instead of typing the address into an old map.

The old 2009 Nav DVD has limits such as no typing of phone numbers while driving. The Vaistech ULM is the bypass for such limits. Additional, ULM enables video while driving to amuse the passenger if the driver is not in the mood to do it, LOL.
