OK, major problem and I need help. How to I get my iPhone out of the center console. I had the phone resting on the center covered area of the cup holder. Long story short, the cover on the cup holder flipped up and the phone slid down inside the console. My question is : how do I remove the console to retrieve the iPhone?

you can just lift the whole shift plate area up. start from the part closest to the armrest (open it up). everything is held down by clips. pull that part up, and then there is a connector you need to remove for the seat heater module. then start working your way towards the radio unit. hopefully that gives enough room for you to see the phone and pick it up.

Did it; got it, job complete in less that 5 minutes. Thanks so much for the tip. BTW, interesting "secret compartment" I didn't know existed.
