iphone lightening adapter on old Vaistech model?
#2
I used the lightning adaptor with a friends iPhone5 on a road trip a year ago and it worked flawlessly with my original SLi. They are expensive but they do work (this was the Apple OEM one). It didn't charge the phone though; you might need a 12v to 5v adaptor for that.

I have the vaistech ml+ and the new iphone 6 with the lightening adapter. Unfortunately, it won't play music anymore, only pandora seems to work now. It may be ios8 or the new phones don't work with the ml+ anymore.

We are all in for a world of hurt if the newest iPhones wont work

Here is the response I received from Vaistech. It looks like the ml+ is incompatible with the new iPhone 6.
Unfortunately Apple discontinued iPod Out interface and took out the
Component input connection to iPhone starting with iPhone 5. So, ML
Plus isn't compatible with iPhone 5 or newer.
The replacement product is iVIC-5i, you can take a look at the specs
on our website. Basically it does everything ML Plus did, plus some
extra functionality.

Have any IOS updates solved to no audio issue on the ML+?
I just went from a 4s to 6 plus and want to play stored music on the phone through my ML+.
Is there a specific cable to get? I just ordered a 30 pin female to lightning to "extend" the 30 pin composite I already have installed in my GS
Anybody know if this will work in any mode? Mp3 emulation, or any iPod out mode
Thanks guys.
I will update if I find anything out

How about just getting one of those cassette adapters (if your RX has the cassette player) or use a line from the headphone jack on your phone to the aux input (assuming you have a 3.5mm aux input). It may not be as convenient but you should be able to play your music.
